Call for funding applications / projects Southern Africa 2013

Within the framework of its research programmes, the French Institute of South Africa (UMIFRE 25, USR 3336) finances research projects in the Human and Social Sciences on Southern AfricaFor 2013, IFAS is launching: 

- A call for applications for one or two doctoral or post-doctoral research positions, for a maximum of nine months, non-renewable (save for exceptional reasons). [Call for applications].

 - A call for projects intended for research units, senior researchers, post-doctorate, doctorate and master students carrying a scientific partnership between Europe and Southern Africa.  [Call for projects].

All funding applications for 2013 must imperatively reach us before the 14th of December 2012.

 

Ferband Braudel - IFER Fellowships

The Fernand Braudel - IFER programme offers post-doctoral fellowships to social and human science (SHS) researchers in two categories:  it offers foreign researchers the possibility to do research in France and offers French researchers the possibility to do research in another European country.

These research stays are designed to enable researchers to carry out an individual research project at a host laboratory, integrate scientific networks in France / other European countries and build lasting partnerships between their home institution and the host institutions.

The deadline for applications is  31 March & 30 September each year

 

EURIAS Fellowship Programme 2013-2014

The European Institutes for Advanced Study (EURIAS) Fellowship Programme is an international researcher mobility programme offering 10-month residencies in one of the 14 participating Institutes: Berlin, Bologna, Brussels, Bucharest, Budapest, Cambridge, Helsinki, Jerusalem, Lyons, Nantes, Paris, Uppsala, Vienna, Wassenaar. The Institutes for Advanced Study support the focused, self-directed work of outstanding researchers. The fellows benefit from the finest intellectual and research conditions and from the stimulating environment of a multi-disciplinary and international community of first-rate scholars.
